FEATURED BEVERAGE

Husband made a bloody flat iron steak and asked me if I wanted the last beer. I declined the beer for a red wine, and it was between a Pinot Noir and this 2014 Mauro Molino Barbera d'Alba. Went for the Barbera.

Turned out to be a great choice, because it went very well with the grilled rare steak and the seasonings my husband used on it (notes: bright red fruit and a little spice).

Though the steak was nearly cold by the time I actually got to eat it since I had to jump up for unexpected baby duty, this still hit the spot!  $14.99 at Hover Crossing Wine & Spirits in Longmont, CO -Becca
